i remember reading somewhere that online petitions hold very little weight regardless of number sbecause signatures cannot be verified. not trying to put a damper on it and it only takes a second to electronically sign, but is this method useless when it comes to legislation?

I can't remember if they take address/etc, but to verify I think they would have to...I also have heard that email/form letters/things online are looked at as less credible...
