San Jose LR sponsored a trip up to Bodega Bay that turned out to be quite damp on Sunday--making the day all the more fun. Lea Magee and Tim Scully were on hand to join in the frey and certainly got their workout scouting trails to make sure they were still passable, and even a recovery on a hillside! Link below for some photos I snapped. Working on a hall pass from the wife for the NCLR event. Also, Anyone know if it is OK to torque wheels to 200lb/ft? My wireless impact wrench does not seem to be adjustable, but I don't want to overtighten. Oh, and Louis, as you can see I dropped the puff daddy front/rear in favor of HST and then just had wide fender extenders fabricated to follow the fender line. Still haven't installed extension rods because I still like my access height for the wife and kids.

Great photos.

Agree - wet day = more fun!

Hope to see you (hope you get the hall pass) and your family @ the NCLR annual event.

Love it! You gotta be the first one with an HST that I've seen do some real off roading. You have to make it out next month. I could use another RRS out there

I'm going to give you an educated guess and say no! The torque specs for my 94 rangie is 96lb/ft. There is no way a newer rangie's specs are twice that.

I was there also, first time I've ever really driven my LR3.

Sadly, it's spending the weekend in the shop, as it started bleeding all over my driveway this week. :(

x2 on that Jen, come on down to the event. was in Hollister today for the Overland Expo, and I realized how long it had been since I ben of road (Dec 09 I think) and I got sideways on one hill (pucker) and then had to spend 15 min rocking the rover without a spotter to get traction (pucker again)..and I realized skills not practiced are skills getting lost.

Great photo..if you had Scully and Lea watching over you, you had a great time. That ranch is beautiful..I love it there.

Mike - Jen can't attend the annual but would like to buy raffle tickets. Can you get some info to her on that?
