The Disco is done with the repair shop and just got word that the creaking sound coming from my front suspension is from dry cracked bushings. The mechanic did his best to lube them up but recommended replacing the swaybar bushings and body mount bushings. Just for replacing the swaybar bushings, i am looking at $500 plus parts and $300 per body mount bushing and there are 6 of them. My question is, has anyone seen a Polyurethane bushing kit for the disco and is replacing these bushings something that a semi mechanically inclined person like myself be able to takle?
