I'm taking the Ham radio test this Saturday, but I'm planning to go on Tuesday with a few Hummers to do a little run through with new students, if you care to join us then.

It was a pretty mild day at Hollister today. Steve got to break in his new tires and check for rubbing. No problems there, he was stoked! Before heading down I got Steve's old tires (Dunlop Mud Rovers 235/85/r16) put on my truck, so I got some testing in too. Mike (Monty) met up with us at the Ranger station and we headed to the new obstacle course after saying our "Hellos".
We tooled around there for a bit then headed up to the Top of the World for some lunch. It was pretty windy up there, but the sun was shinning and kept us warm. There was actually a little drizzle on the way to Hollister this morning leaving Los Gatos. We drove through the rock quarry on the way to the old obstacle course. Sections were still heavily modified from the truck competition last week. The water hole was probably twice as deep as I have ever seen it, and the frame twister was just plain gnarly. You could actually look under the logs that were above the 12" of mud. That's about it. It was pretty quiet through the entire park all day, it almost felt like we were there in the middle of the week. Here are some pics.

Tires look great guys - both on Steve's truck (255/85s or 33s) and your DII (235/85s) Brention.
Steve, any rubbing on your discoII @ full flex or otherwise.
And good to see Monty out.
I took the kids out to see a movie last night (saw "Up"), and was burning the midnight oil working on my RRC late night in the garage.
Woke up late and too tired to hit hollister. Plus needed to do a couple of more things on the steering. Wanted to join you guys and flex the RRC - maybe next time.
