Great get together @ Mexxis last night; rain or shine - and it rained a lil, we were there.
Tony and his family, Mike and his family as well along with me my two boys, Chris, Terry, Collin, Dan and of course Enrique and Carlos owners of Mexxs.
And we had a surprise guest Michael and Kathi traveling from Europe to Canada across the USA, and then S. America in their Defender 110 Camper.
Carlos can tell the story the nice couple in their Defender 110 ended up @ Mexxis. :)
Michael and Kathi were passing thru the Bay Area on the way to NV/AZ to see the Grand Canyon. Carlos convince the couple to join us. Nice job Carlos.
After the Grand Canyon, understand their plans are to head back to Los Angeles and ship their vehicle to S. America; continue the journey in S. America. Enrique was helpful w/giving them advice re: traveling in Mexico.
Here's their web site: http://www.go-beyond.ch/ most written in Duetch; say hello on their blog if you can.
Here's a picture of Michael and Kathi (right) and the 110 Camper (picture from Go-Beyond.Ch) w/traveling friends.
Attached are pictures I took @ Mexxis (blurry - my flash is not working):
