I'd like to, but still need to resolve the tires rubbing against the sliders issue.

Possible with LR3 since no faults to date with new battery

Come by the shop and we can cut off some of the slider ends to solve the rubbing problem. All it should take is a Portaband or a reciprocating saw, both of which we have available.

Yes, but I have another I forgot about while at your shop. Steve is going to be in SF on Saturday and should be dropping off some new extended SS brake lines for me. Thanks again for your help in trimming the sliders Gary!!!

I'm glad to help out Brenton. I assume the rubbing is completely gone now?

I had a good time at the MORG. Griff had to use his winch for the first time. The recovery worked. Unfortunately my memory is terrible and I can't remeber the new guys name who got stuck, but he had trouble with his cdl not engageing and got stuck 3 more times. He had just come back from Mexico in his RRC with an Izuzu diesel. I ended up staying straped to him so he would not have trouble with the rest of fremontia. We mad it to the top of the world, then back donw. At the quarry we discovered his CDL issue. his cdl lever was hard get the cdl engaged. I got to test my new sliders. They work great.

Yeah, quite a different experience in a familiar location. Addison (sp?) had a helluva a time, including very nearly going over. Great guy and cool truck, but, as stated by Colin above, he had some issues with his TC. We were happy to get him upward and onward. Gave me a chance to use my winch for the first time and put the ol' 110 through some rescue paces.
Don't know if anyone took pics of the "fremontia follies," but please post if so. Rod, did you take any?
Anyway, good time, good folks and great weather. Btw, the lower ranch was full when i got there - lot of frustrated bikers along the road and milling around. Upper ranch wasn't bad at all, although we had our share of traffic jams with Heepers.
Robb and Will, we missed you guys... a little.

Hey Guys! Yup, definitely had a little trouble:) Although I definitely appreciate all of the recoveries and you guys' patience. Must say a little embarrassing for my first outing! Glad we figured out the Transfer case issue though, after I was finally able to get it locked the truck had no problem, was almost tempted to head back up the hill! After you guys left I tooled around some more on the trails and in the playgrounds until it got close to dark then headed home.
I am still in the process of going through my pics of my 2-week mexico expedition, which I will certainly post up once I get it all organized.
Thanks again for a fun first MORG, and I will be sure to meet you guys again! I am looking forward to a fun trip in the snow in february...
